Welcome to Soi YIPUN
Soi YIPUN is a new lane inside Chatuchak Weekend Market, bringing Japanese-inspired crafts and goods to Bangkok. Follow the story.

Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of Bangkok’s most iconic destinations, drawing visitors from around the world every weekend to wander among thousands of stalls packed into a maze of covered lanes. Tucked within this vast market is a small lane called Soi YIPUN, quietly taking shape as something a little different.

Soi YIPUN is being created as a place where visitors can come across crafts and everyday goods made in Japan, or shaped by a distinctly Japanese sense of design, right in the middle of a Chatuchak weekend. Rather than aiming for flashy signage or a big spectacle, the idea is to let each item, and the story behind it, speak quietly for itself. If Chatuchak is a place full of energy and noise, we hope Soi YIPUN can offer a small pocket of calm within it, a place to slow down for a few minutes before diving back into the crowd.

The brands and shops that will eventually call Soi YIPUN home are still being finalized. As details are confirmed, we will share them here on this site and through our social media, a little at a time, rather than announcing everything at once. For now, we simply want to introduce the idea behind this project, and the kind of experience we hope it will offer once everything comes together.

Over the coming weeks, this page will become a place to follow that process. We will be sharing practical stories about visiting Chatuchak itself, along with glimpses of what is taking shape at Soi YIPUN, even before every detail is locked in. We think there is something worth sharing in the process itself, not just the finished result, and we hope you will find it interesting to follow along as a small lane slowly comes together.
Whether you are a regular at Chatuchak or have never had the chance to visit, we hope you will keep Soi YIPUN in mind for your next trip to Bangkok. Thank you for being part of this from the very beginning, and we hope you will enjoy watching this small lane come to life alongside us.
